The NBM Governor made this statement while addressing students from several universities across the country participating in the third edition of the "Career week at the NBM" event. The NBM Governor spoke to the young people about the importance of open and transparent dialogue between the central bank and the general public, which fosters understanding of processes and decisions that contribute to strengthening the stability of the financial and banking system. Anca Dragu emphasized the importance of the meritocracy principle in employee professional development and emphasized that the institution is investing in process and technology optimization to create an environment where each individual's skills are supported and valued. "At the National Bank of Moldova, organizational culture is the foundation upon which trust is built, team spirit is the force that unites us, and open communication is the glue that transforms talented professionals into a community capable of serving the public interest with rigor, integrity, and foresight," emphasized the NBM Governor. Anca Dragu invited students to gain insight into the central bank's operations by participating in internship programs such as the NBM NextGen project, which offers young people the opportunity to participate in various central bank departments and gain experience in areas such as monetary policy, financial stability, banking supervision, international relations and European integration, budgeting and accounting, information technology, and more. The 200 students who visited the National Bank participated in four seminars on banking supervision, financial markets, insolvency resolution, finance, and accounting. Young people also had the opportunity to interact with representatives of NBM divisions to learn about career prospects in the financial and banking sectors.
