In Moldova, 50 young entrepreneurs received loans with a fixed interest rate with a grant component under the Start program.

This was reported by the Enterprise Development Organization (ODA), noting that in the first 6 months after the launch of component III of the "Start" program for youth "Credit with a grant part", 50 investment projects of young entrepreneurs of the country were approved by the Enterprise Development Organization to receive grant funding up to 265 thousand lei per company. This component of the program offers a financial package up to 1 million 760 thousand lei, of which 85% is a loan with a fixed interest rate, and 15% is gratuitous state financing through the Enterprise Development Organization. The total amount of the financial package available to the first beneficiaries is about 49 million lei, of which 9 million lei is offered as a grant. According to the forecasts of the investment projects presented by entrepreneurs, the volume of investments in the economy will be about 54 million lei, while more than 140 new jobs will be created. The funds will be used to purchase goods and services for business development in a number of areas of the national economy. The financial package is co-financed by the Office of External Aid Program Management, which disburses the repayable portion of the loan from the Youth Loan Fund through participating financial institutions, and grant funding is disbursed to eligible beneficiaries by the Enterprise Development Organization through participating financial institutions.
