At the meeting, the World Bank confirmed its commitment to support the most important and urgent areas of development in Moldova, such as socio-economic development, including the energy sector. "The Government of Moldova highly appreciates the sustainable partnership with the World Bank, and I would like to emphasize that now more than ever we need support to carry out systemic and structural changes and reforms in the economic and social sphere, including by increasing attention to ensuring the country's food and energy security ", - said Dumitru Udrea. In turn, Arup Banerji noted that the World Bank has been working with Moldova for 30 years, and during this time it has helped the country develop infrastructure and supported the progress of socio-economic reforms.
