Representatives of the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalization announced this during hearings organized by the Parliamentary Commission on European Integration on the status of Moldova's commitments under Chapter 20, "Industrial and Entrepreneurial Policy," the National EU Accession Programme for 2025–2029, which is overseen by the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalization in cooperation with other relevant bodies. According to the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalization, the hearings provided information on the current status of implementing EU legislation for 2026, pertaining to the relevant chapter, which concerns industrial and entrepreneurial policy with the aim of creating a favorable environment for competitiveness, supporting SMEs, integrating into European value chains, attracting investment, simplifying regulations for the business environment, and strengthening industrial resilience.
