The Moldova Integration & Growth Fund (MIGF) American investment fund is ready to provide capital to Moldovan companies to enhance their competitiveness and facilitate their integration into regional and global value chains
According to the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalization, in particular, to promote investment opportunities in Moldova, the ministry’s state secretaries Oleg Bivol and Natalia Selevestru held a meeting with the team from the American Moldova Integration & Growth Fund (MIGF), which supports the development of Moldovan companies. During the meeting, strategic sectors such as manufacturing and renewable energy were discussed, which are priority areas for both the MIGF and Moldova’s economic development program. MIGF, managed by Avalon Capital, is an investment fund that seeks opportunities in private companies in Moldova, with a particular focus on identifying local projects and partnerships. Equity financing provided by international financial institutions (EBRD, IFC, EIB) is invested in funds to support economic development, mitigate risks, and integrate companies into regional and global markets. At the same time, the importance of attracting international capital to enhance the competitiveness of Moldovan companies and their integration into regional and global value chains was emphasized. The State Secretaries of the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalization reaffirmed their openness to cooperation and support in facilitating dialogue with relevant stakeholders in the investment ecosystem to leverage opportunities for the sustainable development of the national economy.
