As reported to InfoMarket by the Ministry of Finance, Moldova's state budget expenditures for the first nine months of 2025 amounted to 63 billion 790.1 million lei, up 6 billion 952.1 million lei (+12.2%) from the same period of the previous year. As a result, Moldova's state budget deficit in January-September 2025 amounted to 6 billion 958 million lei, which is 519.5 million lei (6.9%) less than in the same period of 2024. According to the Ministry of Finance, the largest amounts of revenue for the first nine months of 2025 were traditionally generated by the Customs Service - 29 billion 803.6 million lei, which is 1 billion 966 million lei (7.1%) more than in the same period of 2024. At the same time, revenues administered by the State Tax Service amounted to 24 billion 774.2 million lei, which is 3 billion 126.5 million lei (14.4%) more than in the same period of the previous year. Revenues from externally funded projects in January-September 2025 amounted to 572.9 million lei, compared to 529.3 million lei a year earlier, up 8.2%. Other revenues amounted to 5 billion 032.8 million lei, which is 2 billion 304.2 million lei (+84.4%) higher than in the same period of the previous year. The Ministry of Finance's VAT and excise tax refunds for the first nine months of 2025 amounted to 3 billion 351.4 million lei, which is 31.36 million lei (0.9%) less than in the same period a year earlier. // 30.10.2025 — InfoMarket
