83 young people from Moldova receive a monthly allowance of 3000 lei following the launch of the “+3000 lei for your career” national program

More than 1000 people have received preliminary qualifications and must undergo a digital validation procedure. As reported by the Ministry of Economy and Digitalization this program, launched two months ago, offers young people aged 18 to 35 a tax-free monthly allowance of 3,000 lei for 12 months This is for their first full-time job in one of seven strategic sectors for the country's economic development: pharmaceuticals, electronics, automotive, textiles, agri-food, construction materials, and creative industries. Minister of Economic Development and Digitalization Doina Nistor emphasized that the future of Moldova's economy depends on young people who decide to build their careers here, in their homeland. “Thanks to this program, we are supporting not only them, but also strategic industries that can transform the country: from automotive and electronics to creative and agri-food industries. Every young person employed in a modern company means a more competitive and European economy,” she said. In turn, Minister of Labor and Social Protection Alexei Buzu noted that the “+3000 lei for your career” program offers real opportunities for young people, support at the beginning of their career path, and a clear signal that the state is interested in their employment in sectors that are important for Moldova's future. According to him, the first results show that young people are responding positively and are ready to contribute to the country's development. The program is already yielding tangible results. The first success stories confirm the real impact of the program: young people from IUVAS (textile industry) and Balkan Pharmaceuticals (pharmaceuticals) are already receiving this support, showing that “a reliable career can be started here, at home, in Moldova.” Raisa Dogaru, Director of the National Employment Agency, said she believes in the potential of every young person and that, with the help of this program, the authorities want to accompany them on their way to a decent future and reliable integration into the Moldovan labor market. Success in a young person's first job contributes to their career success, and the National Employment Agency promotes this success. Nicoleta Colomeet, Director of the e-Governance Agency, noted that young people can check their eligibility, apply, and track government support directly from their phones. According to her, the first results of the “+3000 for your career” program show how digitalization simplifies interaction between the state, citizens, and the business environment. “Our goal is to expand these solutions so that any public service is accessible, understandable, and easy to use,” said Nicoleta Colomeet. To make it easier for young people to access suitable job vacancies, the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalization has signed a cooperation agreement with Jobber.md, one of the most important employment platforms in Moldova. Through this partnership, Jobber.md aims to promote the program on its platform and highlight job vacancies in companies operating in strategic sectors. This will make it easier for young people to find jobs supported by the program and receive recommendations on the steps they need to take to receive financial support from the state. The process is fully digitized thanks to the EVO platform developed by the e-Governance Agency. To confirm their eligibility and receive the allowance, young people need to follow three simple steps: obtain a digital signature (from Orange or Moldcell); download the EVO app; confirm their eligibility in the “Allowances” module and link their bank account. After verifying the data, confirming eligibility, and processing the monthly reports provided by employers, the approved amount is transferred directly to the recipient's account. According to government estimates, more than 4,000 young people will benefit from the program within a year of its launch, and by 2030, that number could exceed 9,000. The budget for the first year of implementation is 60 million lei, of which more than 34 million is already planned for 2025. Detailed information on the selection criteria and application procedure can be found in the Applicant's Guide. // 10.10.2025 – InfoMarket.
