The Central European Initiative has launched a call for proposals for the €600,000 Know-How Exchange Programme (KEP)
Launched in 2004, the KEP is a development instrument aimed at supporting the transfer of expertise from EU organisations to organisations from non-EU Central European Initiative (CEI) countries. By co-financing capacity building and technical assistance projects, KEP provides grants to organisations willing to share their expertise with partners from non-EU CEI Member States, thereby helping them to move towards compliance with EU standards and policies. The total amount available under this call for proposals is €600,000. Applicants can be public or private organisations established in a CEI Member State. To participate in the competition, a minimum of 2 partners are required for each application: at least 1 know-how provider and 1 know-how beneficiary institution. The maximum grant amount is 40,000 euros, while the grant amount cannot exceed 50% of the total project cost. Applications can be submitted until September 26. The KEP programme is financed by the Italian Government through the Central European Initiative Fund of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
