At the same time, in general, since the beginning of this year, it has grown by 3 billion 199.03 million lei (+8.1%). It should be noted that the record maximum of the domestic public debt occurred at the end of July 2024, when it amounted to 43 billion 916.8 million lei. At the end of October, this figure was 41 billion 007.1 million lei. According to the Ministry of Finance, the growth of the domestic public debt in January-November 2024 occurred mainly due to the increase in the issuance of government securities on the primary market by about 3 billion 514.2 million lei. In particular, as of the end of November 2024, the debt on government securities issued on the primary market amounted to about 29 billion 295.71 million lei, which is 1 billion 514.22 million lei (13.6%) more than at the end of 2023 (25 billion 781.49 million lei), and it accounted for 68.3% of the total domestic public debt. Herewith, the debt on bonds issued for the fulfillment by the Ministry of Finance of payment obligations arising from the state guarantees of 17 November 2014 and 1 April 2015, as of the end of November 2024 amounted to 11 billion 421.2 million lei, decreasing by 330 million lei (-2.8%), compared to the situation at the end of 2023 (11 billion 751.2 million lei). It accounted for 26.6% of the total amount of Moldova's domestic public debt at the end of November 2024. Meanwhile, the debt on converted government securities at the end of November 2024 amounted to 2 billion 069.52 million lei, decreasing by 63.91 million lei (-3%), compared to the situation at the end of 2023 (2 billion 133.43 million), amounting to 4.8% of the total amount of domestic public debt at the end of November 2024. The debt on government securities issued through direct placement by individuals amounted to 78.71 million lei. According to the Ministry of Finance, in January-November 2024, the average weighted interest rate on government securities sold at auctions was 4.79%, which is 3.83 percentage points less than in 2023. By type of securities, the yield was: 91-day government securities - 2.2%, 182-day government securities - 4.5%, 364-day government securities - 5.1%, 2-year government securities - 5.33%, 3-year government securities - 5.17%, 5-year government securities - 5.87%, 7-year government securities - 5.79%, 10-year government securities - 7%.
