New programs for women's economic empowerment are to be implemented in Moldova with the support of the U.S.
This was discussed during a “Business Breakfast” with Daniela DiPierro, Charge d'Affaires of the U.S. Embassy in Moldova, attended by representatives of the Foreign Investors Association (FIA). According to FIA, during the meeting, the Association representatives had the opportunity to discuss the U.S.-Moldova partnership, programs to support women's entrepreneurship and women's economic empowerment, the potential for trade relations with the U.S., and the proposed women's economic empowerment programs provided by the GLIA Impact Hub Innovation Center, designed to promote women's entrepreneurship through the Association of Women Entrepreneurs of Moldova (AFAM) network. “Only by working together can we support the women of Moldova who are driving economic growth in their communities,” said FIA.
