
Many Japanese companies are ready to invest in various sectors of Moldova's economy and implement infrastructure projects
Such interest was reported by their representatives during meetings and presentations organized in Tokyo by the Investment Agency's management, headed by its Director General Natalia Bejan. Among the leading companies participating in the negotiations were Taisei Corporation and Nippon Koei. The latter company had previously conducted a feasibility study of rail infrastructure development needs in Moldova, and several priority areas for future work have been identified. Both companies showed interest in potential infrastructure projects in Moldova. A special element of the visit program of the Investment Agency delegation to Tokyo was the presentation of investment opportunities in Keidanren (Japanese Business Federation), where extensive information on sectors with growth potential in Moldova, success stories of Japanese companies in Moldova, as well as other information of interest were presented.
