
Moldovan civil servants participating in the European integration process will be sent on business trips to the European Commission to gain experience and strengthen the potential of our country in the process of accession to the EU.
This is provided for by a corresponding agreement between Moldova and the European Commission, the start of negotiations on which and the subsequent signing were approved by the parliamentary commission on foreign policy and European integration. According to the draft document, Moldovan civil servants will be able to participate in the Seconded National Experts (END) and National Experts in Vocational Training programs to gain practical experience in the working policies of the European Commission. For the National Experts in Vocational Training program, the secondment period ranges from 3 to 5 months, and in the case of the Seconded National Experts - up to 2 years, but in total it can be a maximum of 5 years. Moldova will be able to send on business trips civil servants who have worked for at least 1 year in a government agency and who, upon return, will contribute to the process of integration of our country into the European Union.
