
About 350 domestic entrepreneurs will take part in the 21st National Exhibition-Fair of Goods and Services “Made in Moldova”.
This was announced by the President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Moldova, Sergiu Harea, noting that the exposition will open at the Moldexpo International Exhibition Center on January 31 and will last until February 4. According to him, the most anticipated exhibition event of the year on an area of 2800 sq. m will be attended by about 350 local entrepreneurs from all areas of the economy and regions of the country. The exhibition “Made in Moldova” has become the image of Moldovan business, a meeting place for both specialists and representatives of the country’s business environment. Starting from 2024, the event will be represented by a new logo - a map of Moldova in a circle, which means the unity and mobility of entrepreneurs, authorities and consumers, in order to develop the state’s economy. “Through the new logo, we want to represent the country’s desire for progress and development. It will serve as a visual ambassador to attract tourists and foreign investors,” noted Sergiu Harea. As noted by the head of the entrepreneurship education department of the Organization for the Development of Entrepreneurship (ODA), Ana Sochirca, this year the institution she represents is among the organizers and participants of the exhibition, thus ODA contributes to supporting entrepreneurs, partially reimbursing the expenses of economic agents. The organization reimburses 100% of the registration fee for participation in the exhibition and up to 50% of the cost of the exhibition space. According to her, ODA has been a reliable partner of the event for more than 10 years, having been able to support approximately 500 entrepreneurs throughout the process. The head of maib's sales department, Vadim Culea, said that supporting small and medium-sized businesses is a priority for the bank, and manufacturers are the central segment that will receive assistance this year. “We aimed to promote our products during the exhibition so that entrepreneurs win time, money, new market segments and innovation. At the same time, during the events we will talk with entrepreneurs about our new services, such as routine maintenance and special loans,” he noted. The President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry also said that in the current edition of the “Made in Moldova” exhibition, visitors will be able to get acquainted with approximately 45 new participating companies, we are talking about textile manufacturers, industry, food industry, as well as service providers. Their stands can be found in two exhibition pavilions. It is expected that the exhibition will be visited by more than 60 thousand visitors, including official delegations of foreign guests from Romania, Ukraine, Poland, Italy, France, North Macedonia, Turkey, and China. Herewith, Italy will have a representative stand at the exhibition with Italian companies operating in Moldova. A new feature of the current exhibition will be the holding of an international conference dedicated to sustainable public procurement, which will be attended by representatives of Romania, Ukraine, Poland, France, and North Macedonia. Meanwhile, the Moldova-Romania business forum will be part of the business program. The exhibition will be located by sector, depending on the profile of activity. In addition, in the exhibition will take part government agencies providing services - the National Employment Agency, ODA, as well as banking institutions, non-governmental organizations, folk craftsmen, etc. The business program will take place on all days of the exhibition. Various seminars, presentations, trainings and master classes are planned. The National Exhibition “Made in Moldova” 2024 includes an extensive business program that will make the most of opportunities for business development and will become a unique platform for cooperation between the business environment, the public and business support institutions, aimed at improving the business environment in our country. With the support of the mayor's office of the municipality of Chisinau, from January 31 to February 4, from 10:00 to 17:00, a temporary bus route will operate, which will transport citizens and guests of the capital free of charge to the pavilions of the exhibition “Made in Moldova” from the center of Chisinau (Banulescu Bodoni street, Stefan cel Mare Park). // 29.01.2024 — InfoMarket
