The relevant loan agreement was signed by Moldovan Finance Minister Dumitru Budianschi, Director of the Eastern Europe, Middle East and Asia Department of the French Development Agency Cyrille Bellier and French Foreign Minister Catherina Colonna. The Moldovan Ministry of Finance said that the loan will be provided to Moldova by the French Development Agency in one tranche for 15 years, with a 5-year vacation on payments. The interest rate will be fixed and will amount to 1.38% per annum. The money should be allocated no later than November 30, and the repayment of the loan will be made every six months in 20 equal installments.
