Last week, the Customs Service transferred to the budget a record amount of 839 million lei, which is 141.7% more than the figure planned for this period.
In total, since the beginning of December, customs deductions to the budget amounted to 2.5 billion lei, which is 23.2% more than in the same period last year. According to the press service of the department, from 20 to 26 December, 127 thousand passengers entered Moldova, of which 1.21 thousand tried to import goods, the customs value of which exceeded the tax-free limit (300 euros - by land transport, 430 euros - by air). As a result of taxation of these goods, the budget received 32 million lei, which is 3.8% of the total amount of customs deductions for the last week. At the same time, customs officers processed 12.2 thousand declarations, and the largest traffic of vehicles fell on the customs posts in Leuseni and Sculeni (16.4 thousand and, accordingly, 8.7 thousand crossings). Last week, were registered 183 violations of customs legislation, for which fines were charged in the amount of 233 thousand lei.
