
ANRE approved an additional Moldovagaz-Gazprom agreement providing for the extension of the gas contract until September 30, 2026 and the supply of 3.3 billion cubic meters of gas to Moldova until October 2022.
According to the energy regulator, in particular, the Administrative Council of the National Agency for Energy Regulation approved additional agreement N19 dated October 29, 2021 to the contract dated December 29, 2006 between Moldovagaz and Gazprom on the terms of natural gas supplies to Moldova. According to Appendix N19, the parties agreed to extend the contract until September 30, 2026 inclusive. According to clause 3 of Appendix N19, in the period of November-December 2021 and January-October 2022, Gazprom undertakes to supply, and Moldovagaz undertakes to receive and pay for 1 billion 238 million cubic meters of natural gas for consumers on the right bank of the Dniester and 2 billion 062 million cubic meters of gas for consumers on the left bank of the Dniester, thus, the total volume of gas under the contract for Moldovagaz will be 3.3 billion cubic meters.
