The Moldovan government has appointed 5 new secretaries of state in two ministries, who will temporarily occupy these positions.

The corresponding decision was made by the Cabinet at a meeting on Monday. In particular, Igor Curov, Denis Cernelea and Vasile Cușca have been appointed new secretaries of the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection, and Alexandru Pleșca and Tatiana Tverdun are the new secretaries of the Ministry of Justice. Acting Prime Minister Aureliu Ciocoi noted that the relevant personnel decisions were made taking into account the recent verdict of the Constitutional Court, which allowed the interim government with limited powers to appoint for a certain period of time to vacant positions of the leaders of the 2nd and 3rd levels, in particular, secretaries of state and heads of departments, agencies. Aureliu Ciocoi said that in this regard, the current cabinet decided to urgently appoint to the vacant positions of state secretaries of the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection and the Ministry of Justice to improve crisis management.
