According to the weekly report of the State Tax Service, the largest amount of revenues administered by the State Tax Service (SFS) from January 1 to February 27 was transferred to the state budget – 5 billion 339.8 million lei, which is 15.2% more than in the same period last year. The state social insurance budget received 4 billion 773.3 million lei (+9.9%), the compulsory health insurance funds received 1 billion 597.8 million lei (+12.3%), and revenues to local budgets administered by the SFS amounted to 1 billion 520.5 million lei (+18.2%). According to operational information, over the previous week, from February 23 to 27, revenues to the national public budget administered by the SFS amounted to about 3.1 billion lei. During this period, tax inspectors made 548 tax visits to 523 taxpayers. From February 23 to 27, the SFS issued 176 decisions on cases of violation of the law, charging additional obligations to the budget totaling 15.9 million lei, including: 8.6 million lei - taxes, fees, penalties, and other payments, and 7.3 million lei - fines. Regarding VAT refunds from the budget, 84 decisions were issued, through which VAT of 64.15 million lei was approved for refund. To settle the tax liabilities of taxpayers with arrears, the State Tax Service collected 39.83 million lei through enforcement measures between February 23 and 27. Over the past week, the SFS also registered 17 cases of confiscation worth 617,950 lei.
