The Prime Minister made this statement during a meeting with a group of International Monetary Fund experts led by Alina Iancu, who will be working in Chisinau from May 7 to 20. According to the Cabinet’s press service, discussions focused on tax reform—a key reform for ensuring the sustainability of public finances and the ability to cover expenditures related to the modernization of the state. Macroeconomic policy, monetary policy, financial stability, and capital market development were also discussed.
