Moldova will create a unified system of macroeconomic forecasting

The Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalization has prepared a draft resolution establishing a National Mechanism for Coordinating Official Macroeconomic Forecasting, which will consolidate forecasts from all government agencies and serve as the basis for budgetary and economic planning. The new mechanism will replace the current fragmented approach with a unified macroeconomic scenario, mandatory for the preparation of the state budget, the Medium-Term Budget Program, the Economic Reform Program, the public debt sustainability analysis, and other strategic documents.
