The National Bank of Moldova reported this, noting that it also decreased by 0.7% compared to September of the previous year. According to the NBM, in September 2025, the monetary base M0 (currency in circulation) amounted to 47 billion 792.3 million lei, a decrease of 0.4% compared to August 2025. At the same time, compared to September 2024, it increased by 12.2%.
