The Moldovan Ministry of Finance launches the Budget Execution Portal – simplified access to information on the use of public funds
According to the Ministry of Finance, in line with the goals of modernizing public services and its commitment to strengthening open governance, the Ministry of Finance has launched the Budget Execution Portal in pilot mode – www.peb.mf.gov.md. It provides direct and simplified access to information on state budget execution, facilitating a better understanding of how the state's financial resources are managed. The portal presents budget data in an interactive format and allows real-time access to budget execution information by government agencies at all levels – from the presidential administration, parliament, and government to ministries, departments, district councils, and city halls. The platform will be developed gradually, including based on user suggestions. The Ministry of Finance encourages citizens, civil society representatives, journalists, experts, and all interested parties to explore the portal and submit their recommendations through the accessible feedback module.
