French companies are interested in the Moldovan market and in launching joint projects in the fields of infrastructure and public services
This was stated by the French Ambassador to Moldova, Dominique Waag, during a meeting with Moldova’s Minister of Infrastructure and Regional Development, Vladimir Bolea, and the ministry’s State Secretaries, Mircea Pascaluta and Denis Lungul. Discussions focused on opportunities for cooperation between the two countries in the fields of infrastructure and urban mobility, including the search for innovative solutions for the development of modern public transport and electric urban transport. Vladimir Bolea emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation with French partners and noted that the experience of French companies and institutions could contribute to the implementation of modern infrastructure projects in Moldova. In this context, the parties discussed the upcoming fact-finding visit of a delegation from the Ministry of Infrastructure and Regional Development to France, scheduled for June, during which technical meetings and an exchange of expertise with French experts in the field of public transport and urban mobility will take place. Officials also addressed issues related to French investments in Moldova, as well as the participation of French companies in infrastructure projects being implemented in our country. In this regard, the wastewater treatment plant project in Soroca, implemented with the support of international partners, was also highlighted.
