The National Wine Day returns after a 2-year break and its XXI edition will be celebrated on October 1-2 on the central square of Moldova.

Specifically, for these two weekends, the Great National Assembly Square in Chisinau will turn into a wine city and will bring together more than 70 wineries from all over the country. The slogan of the current National Wine Day is "My wine brings peace" and it is a call for solidarity with the entire wine industry and efforts to develop the industry. The current edition of the holiday will also have a distinct visual identity. The National Wine Day provides for a thematic program which will include: an official opening ceremony of the celebration; presentation of medals and awards to representatives of the wine sector; an artistic and cultural program; a wine school, which aims to educate consumers on the responsible consumption of wine, introducing them to wine culture; special tours and special programs in all wineries of the country with the potential of wine tourism.
