In Moldova, the decrees of the former head of state on the formation of the Economic Council under the President, the Civil Society Council under the President, as well as the Commission on Constitutional Reform were recognized as invalid.
The corresponding decree was signed by President Maia Sandu, approving also the Regulation on the activities of the presidential advisory councils. This document outlines the general functions and procedure for the formation of advisory councils under the president, regulates the procedure for their meetings, etc. At the same time, by the same decree, the previous decrees of the head of state on the formation of the Economic Council under the President (dated March 3, 2017), the Civil Society Council under the President (dated July 28, 2017), as well as of the Commission on Constitutional reform (dated July 29, 2020).
