Inflation in Moldova is expected to reach 6.5% by the end of 2025, and in 2026, its average level is forecast at 4.3%

As stated by the Governor of the National Bank of Moldova (NBM), Anca Dragu, the forecasts confirm the continuation of the downward trajectory of inflation. “We forecast that inflation will be around 6.5% at the end of 2025, and the downward trend should continue, and in 2026 we will be within the target range for the whole year, so the disinflation process will continue, and we forecast that in 2026 the average inflation rate will be 4.3%.
