Russian natural gas supplies to Moldova in January-November 2020 amounted to 2.6 billion cubic meters, having increased by about 2.6% compared to the same period in 2019.

Imports of Russian natural gas to Moldova in January-November last year amounted to 2 billion 533.7 million cubic meters, having decreased by 0.9%, compared to the same period in 2018. As InfoMarket agency previously reported, in general, supplies of Russian natural gas to Moldova, including the Transnistrian region, in 2019 amounted to 2 billion 889.9 million cubic meters, having decreased by 1.7%, compared to 2018. According to the National Agency for Energy Regulation, Moldova (excluding Transnistria) in 2019 reduced the volume of natural gas purchases in physical terms by 6.4% - to 1 billion 057.7 million cubic meters.
