According to the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), at the same time, in November 2020, the volume of industrial production increased by 2.7% compared to the same month of the previous year. In general, in January-November 2020, compared to the same period in 2019, production volumes in the extractive industry increased by 7.9%, and in the processing industry - decreased by 7.2%. According to the NBS, for 11 months in 2020, food industry enterprises reduced overall production by 5.7%, compared to the same period in 2019. The production of beverages fell by 7.3%, textiles - by 1.7%, and clothing - by 8.2%. Tanning and finishing of leather; production of suitcases, bags, harness and saddlery; dressing and dyeing of fur increased by 0.3%, and wood processing and production of products from wood and cork, except for furniture; production of products from straw and other plant materials for plaiting decreased by 29.9%. Production of paper and paper products increased by 0.1%, chemicals and chemical products - increased by 25.3%, pharmaceuticals and pharmaceuticals - decreased by 6.9%, rubber and plastic products - decreased by 6.6%. In the metallurgical industry, production fell by 8.3%. The output of metal structures and products, except for machinery, equipment and installations, increased by 3.9%, computers, electronic and optical products - decreased by 31.6%. The production of electrical equipment decreased by 36.4%, machinery and equipment - decreased by 32.9%, cars, trailers and semi-trailers - decreased by 35.3%. Furniture production increased by 0.2%. In terms of repair, maintenance and installation of machinery and equipment the decline was 17.6%. The production and supply of electricity, heat, gas, hot water increased by 0.7%.
