The decree on the use of cash register equipment for cash settlements, including through other payment instruments, entered into force.
On April 15, 2019, on the basis of a government decree on the use of cash register equipment in the settlement process, the STS Order on the approval of the Regulation on the procedure for registration and control over the use of cash registers has been canceled. At the same time, 3 provisions came into force that relate to the use of cash registers: Regulations on the unified register of cash registers; Regulations on the interdepartmental commission on cash registers; Regulation on the use of cash register equipment for cash settlements and / or through other payment instruments. Recall, according to the aforementioned government decree, the Ministry of Finance will develop the technical concept of the automated information system Electronic Sales Monitoring. The Ministry of Finance will determine the areas and dates for the implementation of data transportation technology through fixed and mobile networks for making payments in cash or by other payment instruments, at the initiative of the Inter-Agency Commission for cash register equipment. Within six months, the commission will approve the technical requirements for the cash register equipment. Methods of accounting and sealing of cash register equipment, as now, will install the STS. Prior to putting the Electronic Sales Monitoring information system into operation, the STS is charged with the production of security seals (supplier's seal and tax authority seal), which will be used to seal cash register equipment and devices for printing financial reporting information. The document aims to create legal norms that will regulate the implementation of cash settlements and through other payment instruments. The adopted documents were developed taking into account the widespread use of information technologies and the availability of electronic payment services when making payments to users through various electronic devices (tablet, phone, etc.). // 15.04.2019 — InfoMarket.
