As InfoMarket was told in the National Bureau of Statistics, at the same time, in real terms, taking into account the growth of inflation, it increased by 13.2% compared to the IV quarter of 2017. Thus, the size of the average salary in the country in 2018 amounted to 6446.4 lei, which is 13.2% more in nominal terms compared to 2017 and 9.9% more in real terms, taking into account inflation. According to the NBS, in October-December 2018, the average salary in the public sector was 6094.8 lei (+ 18% compared to the same period in 2017), and in the real sector of the economy - 7337.3 lei (+ 13%) . The highest salaries were earned by ICT workers - 15 741.6 lei (+ 22.3% compared with the same period last year), in the financial and insurance industry - 13 723 lei (+ 5.4%), as well as in enterprises for the production and supply of electricity, gas, water, air conditioning - 11,724.6 (+ 5.4%). The lowest salaries remain in the sphere of recreation and entertainment - 4,165.6 lei (+ 20.4%), in the sphere of agriculture, fisheries - 4,793.1 lei (+ 12.7%) and in the field of tourist accommodation and catering - 4,963 (+ 20.9%). The average salary of educators was 5 513.2 lei (+ 18.2%); in the field of administrative services and support activities - 5 499.8 lei (+ 9.7%); in real estate transactions - 5 785.8 lei (+ 5.7%); in the sphere of trade, repair of cars and motorcycles - 6,436.2 lei (+19.2%); in the sphere of transport and storage services - 6,658 lei (+ 13.2%); in the construction industry - 6 979.5 lei (+ 12.1%); in the field of public administration and defense, compulsory social insurance - 8,971.6 lei (+ 16.1%); in the field of scientific and technical activities - 9 262.8 lei (+ 18.5%).
