In the III quarter of 2019, the average nominal accrued salary in Moldova amounted to 7 385 lei, which is 14.6% more than the average for the same period of 2018.
As InfoMarket was told in the National Bureau of Statistics, thus, in real terms, taking into account inflation growth, it increased by 7.4% compared to Q3 2018. In July-September 2019, the average salary in the public sector amounted to 6456.4 lei (+ 14.8% compared to the same period in 2018), and in the real sector of the economy - 7726.6 lei (+ 12.9%). The highest salaries were received by ITC employees - 16 174.6 lei (+ 13.7% compared to the same period last year), in the financial and insurance industries - 13 087.2 lei (+ 9.3%), as well as at enterprises for the production and supply of electricity, gas, water, air conditioning - 12 854.6 lei (+ 13.6%). The lowest salaries in the III quarter of 2019 were in the field of recreation and leisure - 5 065.1 lei (+ 45.5% compared to the same period in 2018). According to the NBS, the average salary of workers in the field of tourist accommodation and catering is 5,372.3 lei (+ 13.1%); workers from agriculture, forestry and fish farming - 5 180 lei (+ 14.3%); in education - 6 203.4 lei (+ 17.9%); in the field of administrative services and support activities - 5966.1 lei (+ 12%); in the field of real estate operations - 6,239.9 lei (+ 11.8%); in the sphere of trade, repair of cars and motorcycles - 6,880.2 lei (+ 11.8%); in the field of transport and storage services amounted to 7,265.7 lei (+ 16.7%); in the construction industry - 7 661.5 lei (+ 14.7%); in the field of public administration and defense, compulsory social insurance - 8 692.8 lei (+ 7%); in the professional, scientific and technical fields of activity - 9 776.6 lei (+ 18.3%).
