Property, including land plots owned by the state, will be demarcated and registered in the real estate register until the end of 2023
To implement the Law on the delimitation of state property, the Government of Moldova, through the State Property Agency, developed a draft Regulation on the delimitation of state property for 2019-2023. The delimitation of state property depending on ownership and registration in state registries will be carried out on budget funds, as well as with the financial support of development partners through the Land Registration and Assessment Project. As Vladimir Baldovici, Director of the State Property Agency (SPA), noted, the greatest difficulties in the process of state property delimitation are related to property disputes. SPA proposes to approve procedures for resolving land disputes in the process of implementing this state program. At the same time, the agency will apply the best practices of countries that have already gone through such procedures. “We propose to improve the state property management information system by interconnecting and exchanging data with other relevant registries, which will protect state property in the event of illegal operations,” said Baldovici. Also, for the successful delineation of state property, special training of specialists of central and local authorities will be organized. According to preliminary calculations, the program will identify and register about 110 thousand plots, including state property - 59.6 thousand, property of administrative-territorial units of Level I and Level II - 2100 thousand and, accordingly, 48.3 thousand plots . // 21.02.2019 - InfoMarket.
