Five banks participate in the Prima Casă program: Moldova Agroindbank, Moldindconbank, Victoriabank, Mobiasbancă- OTP Group and Eximbank. Let us recall that the Prima Casă program was launched on March 26, 2018. Currently, compensation from the state budget is provided to employees of public bodies / public institutions, fully financed from budgets that are components of the national public budget; public health facilities; public universities operating on the basis of financial autonomy, as well as private sector employees aged 18-45 years who meet the conditions of the program. The Ministry of Finance is preparing amendments to relevant legislation in order to expand the program and improve its conditions. It is planned that the beneficiaries of the program will reduce the down payment - from 10 to 5% of the cost of housing. The age of program participants will increase from 45 to 50 years. These measures are taken to preserve the workforce in the country, stimulate economic growth and reduce the shadow economy.
