The National Bureau of Vine and Wine of Moldova has described the initial results of the opening of a Moldovan wine tasting area at the Chisinau Airport as very encouraging
According to a statement from the National Bureau of Vine and Wine, the tastings are proving successful, with travelers showing increasing interest in the Moldovan wines on display. Every day, visitors have the opportunity to learn about the diversity of wine-producing regions and the quality of wines produced in Moldova. A perfect example is a group of tourists from Poland who particularly enjoyed the wines tasted and decided to purchase numerous bottles to take home. "Such moments confirm that Moldovan wine is one of the best representatives of our country. Tastings will continue daily throughout the year, giving every traveler the opportunity to become acquainted with Moldovan wines before departure," the National Bureau of Vine and Wine emphasized. It is worth noting that, starting June 1, passengers passing through the airport's boarding area have the opportunity to taste and sample Moldovan wine in a specially designated area. This initiative is being implemented by the National Bureau of Vine and Wine. By the end of this year, 35 local producers, united under the auspices of the country's wine brand, "Moldovan Wine. Amazingly Good," will present their stories and successes, encouraging travelers to discover new wine varieties with each visit. This initiative is especially significant in 2026, when Moldova celebrates the 25th anniversary of the first National Wine Day – one of the most representative national holidays dedicated to the country's wine industry.// 08.06.2026 — InfoMarket
