EU experts will conduct from April 19 to April 30 an online audit, which is important for Moldova in the future to obtain the right to export poultry meat, poultry products and eggs to the European Union.
This was reported by the Ministry of Economy and Infrastructure, noting that this was discussed during a working meeting held by the department to assess the level of implementation of the Roadmap for obtaining Moldova's right to export category B poultry and eggs to the European Union. The meeting was chaired by the Secretary of State of the Ministry of Economy and Infrastructure Iuliana Dragalin, and it was attended by representatives of the National Agency for Food Safety, the Ministry of Agriculture, Regional Development and Environment, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration. As noted, the “Roadmap” for Moldova's obtaining the right to export poultry meat and eggs of category B to the European Union was revised earlier, taking into account the priorities set for 2020. As a result, about 95% of the planned activities have been implemented, and in the near future there will completed actions that are in the process of implementation. At the same time, the meeting discussed the progress of work to conduct an audit in Moldova to assess the official checks in the field of animal health for poultry meat, poultry products and eggs intended for export to the EU.
