The Foreign Investors Association (FIA) will present a new edition of its White Paper, a document that serves as a platform for dialogue between the authorities and the foreign investor community in Moldova
The Foreign Investors Association (FIA) announced that the new, ninth edition of its White Paper reflects the business environment's priorities in the context of Moldova's status as an EU candidate country and proposes concrete measures to strengthen institutions, enhance economic competitiveness, and accelerate European convergence. The document was developed with the participation of experts from FIA member companies, which manage investments worth over €2.6 billion and generate approximately 19% of Moldova's GDP, providing foreign investors with a practical perspective on the necessary reforms and priorities at this important stage for the country. The White Paper 2025 consists of eight thematic blocks: justice and rule of law, tax policy and regulation, labor market and education, competitive environment, green and sustainable economy, telecoms and digital competitiveness, agriculture and land relations, and the financial system. Each section contains an analysis of the issues and specific proposals aligned with the government's Growth Plan and European regulatory standards.
