Moldova will implement a state program for the development of industrial parks, providing for investments in infrastructure and logistics facilities

As announced by the Moldovan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI), at the last meeting of the Coordination Committee of the State Program for the Creation and Development of Industrial Parks, approved by the government, in which the Head of the Moldovan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Sergiu Harea, took part, the Operational Guidelines for this state program were approved, and the Committee's areas of activity for the next stages of its implementation were defined. As noted by the CCI, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry has made a significant contribution to the development of the regulatory framework in this area, co-authoring the first Law on Industrial Parks, adopted in 2007 and updated in 2010. For many years, the CCI of Moldova has consistently supported public-private dialogue and the promotion of best practices in this area. Recently, during the annual Pro-Industrie conference held on October 3, a panel discussion on industrial parks was organized, at which the national experience and examples of Romania were presented. The state program introduces a modern classification of industrial parks into three separate categories: general parks, parks specializing in innovative and technological areas, and multifunctional industrial platforms for small-scale production. As noted by the CCI of Moldova, state support for the development of industrial parks will be directed primarily towards investments in infrastructure and logistics facilities without providing direct tax incentives. At the same time, clear mechanisms for partnership between state bodies, the business environment, educational institutions, and regional development structures are provided for. The Coordination Committee of the State Program for the Development of Industrial Parks includes representatives of the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalization, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Infrastructure and Regional Development, the Congress of Local Authorities of Moldova, the Organization for Entrepreneurship Development, and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The Committee performs the following duties: approves the program's operational guidelines; coordinates, monitors, and evaluates activities related to its implementation; evaluates applications for the creation of new industrial parks; considers applications for the inclusion of partially created industrial parks in the program; makes decisions on the signing of memoranda of understanding on the further development of infrastructure; approves the extension of the program's implementation period. // 30.10.2025 — InfoMarket
