However, in the second half of December 2018, the NBM currency reserves again fell below the level of $ 3 billion, at the beginning of February 2019 - below $ 2.9 billion, and at the end of February 2019 - below $ 2.8 billion. On March 7 of this year the NBM foreign exchange reserves amounted to $ 2 billion 776.83 million, which was the lowest since December 2017.
