At the same time, the share of the Russian Federation in the total volume of Moldovan exports decreased from 9.32% to 7.91%, while in imports it increased from 15.33% to 16.06%. In January-February 2019, Russia took only the 5th place in the list of Moldova’s largest partners in terms of purchases of Moldovan products after Romania, Italy, Turkey and Germany. At the same time, it takes the 1st place in terms of the supply of products to the Republic of Moldova. The negative trade balance of Moldova with the Russian Federation in January-February 2019 amounted to $95.96 million, increasing by 16.6%, compared with the same period of 2018.
