Exports of Moldovan goods to Russia in 2018, decreased by 14.1% to $218.6 million, compared with 2017

At the same time, Russia's share in the total Moldovan exports declined from 10.5% to 8.08%, while in imports it increased from 11.83% to 12.51%. By the end of 2018, Russia ranked only 4th in the list of the largest partners of Moldova in terms of purchases of Moldovan products after Romania, Italy and Germany. At the same time, it takes the 2nd place in terms of the supply of products to the Republic of Moldova. The negative trade balance of Moldova with the Russian Federation in 2018 amounted to $502.2 million, increasing 1.6 times, compared with 2017.
