Overall, in the whole of 2017, the most went up prices for food. Thus, food products rose in price last year on average by 9.7%, non-food products - by 4.1%. Tariffs for services rendered to the population increased by 7.9%. In December, 2017, in comparison with the previous month, the growth of prices for food products amounted to 0.9%, for non-food products - 0.4%, and tariffs for services rendered to the population increased by 0.1%. According to official statistics, in December 2017, in comparison with the previous month, most of all increased prices for eggs (+ 5%) and fresh vegetables (+ 4.7%). At the same time, tomatoes rose 16.5%, zucchini 10.8%, grapes 10.6%, eggplants 10.5%, sweet peppers 5.2%, onions 4% cabbage - by 3.4%, cucumbers - by 3.3%, carrots - by 2.2%. Prices for pome fruits increased by 3.5%, for exotic fruits - by 2.3%, potatoes - by 2%, for butter - by 1.6%, for wheat flour - by 1.3%, for milk and dairy products - by 1%, honey - by 0.8%. Herewith, during the reporting period, prices for citrus fruits decreased by 6.5%, vegetable oil by 1%, cereals by 0.9%, and sugar by 0.3%. Among non-food items in December 2017, carpets and rugs grew by 1.5%, kitchen stoves and kitchen utensils - by 1.2%, goods for travel and haberdashery by 1%, cleaning and washing products, children's clothes - 0,9%, knitwear, women's shoes, furniture, vacuum cleaners, tools and small accessories - by 0.8%, fuel - by 0.7%, adult clothing - by 0.6%, cigarettes - by 1, 1%. At the same time, during the reporting period, prices for liquefied gas in cylinders decreased by 1%, vehicles - by 0.3%. In particular, the cost of motorcycles decreased by 1.6%, cars - by 0.7%. Meanwhile, medicines fell 0.2%. Among the services rendered to the population in December 2017, the average monthly tariffs for tourism services abroad increased by 3.7%, furniture production by 2.4%, services for the maintenance of children in day care and kindergartens by 2.2%, railway services transportation - by 0,6%, rent of apartments, public catering - by 0,3%.
