ANRE increased the maximum retail prices for gasoline and diesel fuel by 3.8%
The National Agency for Energy Regulation published on Tuesday the new maximum retail fuel prices for January 10 - 23: Premium-95 gasoline - 18.22 lei per liter (from December 27 to January 9 - 17.54 lei), diesel fuel - 16.32 lei per liter (15.72 lei). Thus, for the next 2 weeks gasoline will rise in price by an average of 0.68 lei per liter (+ 3.8%), and diesel fuel - by 0.6 lei (+ 3.8%). New fuel prices were set taking into account the increase in the excise tax on gasoline in 2018 from 4560 to 4961 lei per ton (+ 8.8%) and diesel fuel - from 1926 to 2092 lei (+ 8.6%) per ton. The new prices are set in accordance with the Methodology for calculation and application of prices for petroleum products, according to which, every 14 calendar days, on Tuesday, ANRE sets the maximum prices for the retail sales of gasoline and diesel fuel and publishes them on its site. On the same day, each operator of the oil products market should determine, based on the maximum retail prices set by ANRE, the retail prices of the main oil products and publish them on their website, or display the prices on the panels at the filling stations. The prices set by the operators come into force and apply to all customers, starting from Wednesday, at 00.01 at night. Operators have no right to sell fuel at a price higher than the maximum prices set by ANRE. It should be noted that 2 weeks ago, ANRE increased the maximum retail gasoline prices by 0.74% and diesel fuel by 0.7%. // 09.01.2018 - InfoMarket.
