The volume of investments in agriculture in 2018 amounted to more than 6 billion lei, which is 33.3% more than in 2017

This was announced by the Minister of Agriculture, Regional Development and the Environment Nicolae Ciubuc at a press conference on November 12. He stressed that the ministry is working to diversify agricultural support methods in Moldova. For 2 years, the National Fund for the Development of Agriculture and Rural Areas has been increased from 700 million to 900 million lei. Also, as noted by Nicolae Ciubuc, all debts to agricultural producers have been repaid, and now there is an approval of payment of subsidies. In particular, since the beginning of 2018, the Agency for Intervention and Payment in Agriculture (AIPA) has approved over 405.7 million lei of subsidies to allocate to the farmers of Moldova. The most popular support measures for agricultural producers are: laying, modernization and uprooting of perennial plantations, purchase of agricultural machinery and equipment, encouraging investments for the development of post-harvest infrastructure, processing and packaging of agricultural products.//12.11.2018 - InfoMarket.
