According to AIPA, in total, were accepted for consideration 3422 applications made by agricultural producers for subsidies totaling 532.8 million lei. Most applications for subsidies were received from farmers of following districts: Cahul district - 293 files, Cantemir - 172, Edinet - 147, Ialoveni - 144, Hincesti - 142, Orhei - 142, Causeni - 139, Briceni - 132. Thus, the most subsidies were approved by AIPA for payment to farmers of the Causeni region - 19.4 million lei, Orhei - 15.79 million lei, Stefan-Voda - 14.48 million lei, Cahul - 13.86 million lei, Edinet - 13.57 million lei , Floresti - 12.97 million lei, Hincesti - 11.72 million lei. The most popular measures of support asked by agricultural producers remain: laying, modernization and uprooting of perennial plantations, purchasing agricultural machinery and equipment, encouraging investment for the development of post-harvest infrastructure, processing and packaging of agricultural products. Most often, farmers are requesting funding for the purchase of agricultural machinery and equipment, the construction of packaging workshops, the purchase of refrigerators for fruits, vegetables and grapes. Reception from the farmers of applications for grants in the framework of the campaign in 2018 began on February 1 and will last until October 31 of the current year. However, applications for receiving funds for reimbursement for irrigation costs will be accepted until November 15, and for stimulation of insurance risks in agriculture - until December 15.
