Moldova and Turkey are stepping up cooperation in the fields of agriculture and the food industry and will expand trade in agricultural products
This was discussed during a meeting held in Istanbul between Moldova’s Minister of Agriculture and Food Industry Ludmila Catlabuga and Turkey’s Minister of Agriculture and Forestry İbrahim Yumaklı as part of the Zero Waste Forum 2026, which took place in Istanbul under the motto “Road to Antalya. Zero Waste as Climate Action.” Representatives of the agricultural agencies of both countries discussed the development of agri-food cooperation between Moldova and Turkey through the expansion of trade ties, the establishment of contacts between producers and distribution networks, and the utilization of the potential of Moldovan products in the Turkish market.
